Tracy has been working on teaching and learning initiatives in higher education with a focus on problem-based learning and generic skills development. Before joining HKU, she developed innovative cooperative learning strategies in collaboration with engineering faculty members in a common core course at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She also designed approaches for assessing graduate attributes (e.g., teamwork and leadership skills) in programmes, courses and across departments. Some of her other interests include experiential learning and team dynamics. She is currently involved in the study of assessment practices.
