However\, technology is rapidly evolving\, and teachers can find it challenging to sift through various educational technology apps that best fit their practices. In this workshop\, we have curated a few technologies to help teachers improve their teaching. Teachers will have the opportunity to experience and test various apps and technology\, explore possible ideas for TDG\, and discuss the challenges with colleagues. If you are curious about what is possible for your TDG\, join us! \nAbout the Speakers\nProf. Michael Botelho has been at HKU for over 27 years and has been actively engaged in educational reform\, pedagogy and innovation within his faculty\, across the University and internationally. In education\, he has over 20 peer reviewed publications\, 8 book chapters and participated in 21 education grants. His educational research interests relate to novel use of video for higher order thinking skills and assessments\, online learning\, PBL\, flipped class learning and near-peer teaching. He has a number of HKU and international teaching awards including the prestigious UGC Teaching Award. \nMathew Pryor is the principle investigator of Curios Metaverse project. He is an Associate Professor (Teaching) in Faculty of Architecture\, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). He combines more than 20 years of experience as a practicing landscape architect with teaching and research in the Division of Landscape Architecture at HKU. Through his courses in design\, sustainable development\, and construction technologies\, he has developed a pedagogical approach based around the socialization of online learning and transdisciplinary teaching. He was a recipient of HKU Distinguished Teaching Award (2021)\, QS Reimagine Education ICT Tools Bronze Award (2021)\, a HKU Teaching Innovation (Team) Award (2020)\, Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (USA) Excellence in Teaching Award (2019)\, UGC Teaching (Team) Award (2019). \nLynn Lin is the product designer of Curios Metaverse. She is a digital learning designer in Division of Landscape Architecture\, and a Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). She has the background of Psychology and Information Technology in Education\, and her work aims to facilitate digital transformation in education and make online learning social and visible. She was a recipient of a HKU Teaching Innovation (Team) Award (2020) and QS Reimagine Education ICT Tools Bronze Award (2021). \nNicole Lai is the Assistant Lecturer (E-learning and development specialist) at the Faculty of Social Sciences. After gaining her BA in English Studies (2017) and by the time she completed her MA in Literary and Comparative Studies (2019)\, she had experience working at the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in the fields of digital literacies\, internationalization of Higher Education\, intercultural studies\, graduate teaching assistants training program\, and professional development in teaching and learning. She is currently working on the Faculty Virtual Teaching and Learning project\, Communication-intensive Courses initiative\, experiential learning e-learning development\, and course e-learning enhancement within the Faculty. Apart from revamping courses\, developing e-modules\, gamifying learning and teaching\, creating videos\, and designing graphics for print and websites\, she is also passionate about writing poems. Some of her poems found their homes in Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine\, HKBU EDGE\, Agora\, Tiny Seed Literary Journal\, and Beyond Words Literary Magazine.
