Ms. BC Chow, Mr. Chaak-ming Lau, Ms. Rosa Sung, Mr. Nicky Ng – School of Chinese, HKU

Ms Bun-Ching Chow is a Lecturer in the University of Hong Kong. She teaches written Chinese and spoken Cantonese to international students. She was one of the recipients of the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award 2008/2009. She is the PI of a TDG Project 2015/2016, “CantoSounds: Online Cantonese Pronunciation Learning Platform: A Gamification Approach”.

Mr Chaak-ming Lau was a Cantonese teacher and the software developer of CantoSounds. His research focus is on Cantonese linguistics and Cantonese pedagogy, and his latest projects include words.hk (Cantonese dictionary) and Jyutping teaching pack for NCS students.

Ms Rosa K.Y. Sung is an Assistant Lecturer of the Chinese Language Centre, School of Chinese, HKU. She teaches Cantonese to international students. She is the Co-I of CantoSounds.

Mr. Nicky Ng was the Instructional Designer at E-learning Pedagogical Support Unit, Centre for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL), HKU. He is the Consultant of CantoSounds.
