Hong Kong 2018: Co-Constructing Excellence Conference
By Vienne Lin
Save the date for the Co-Constructing Excellence Conference in Hong Kong taking place from 18 to 19 December 2018 at the University of Hong Kong. The conference theme is ‘Recognising, Scaffolding and Building Excellence in University Learning and Teaching’.
We are delighted to have Prof. Geoffrey Crisp, Prof. Mick Healey, Prof. Rick Glofcheski, and Dr. Susan Bridges as our keynote speakers. There will be paper and poster presentations as well as join-the-conversation sessions on topics pertinent to how we define and measure teaching excellence, and how we set about building, recognising, and reinforcing a culture of teaching excellence.
We cordially invite you to join us at the conference. Whether you are faculty members who teach in the classroom, academic heads who lead and manage the culture, or senior management who strives to establish policy direction and strategy, your contribution and insights would allow us to learn from each other’s wisdom and explore measures that advance university learning and teaching.
The registration is now open. For more information, please refer to https://www.cetl.hku.hk/conf2018/ . We are looking forward to seeing you there.
