* A copy of student ID card is required for student registration, which should be sent to the conference secretariat either by email (conference2010@cetl.hku.hk) or by fax at (852) - 25409941.

Entitlement

Full registration / Student registration includes –

  • Attendance at all sessions on 2 – 3 Dec 2010
  • Coffee breaks and lunches during the Conference
  • A set of official publications including the Programme and Abstract Booklet
  • Attendance at the Opening Ceremony on 2 Dec 2010 and Evening Welcome Reception on1 Dec 2010

Payment Method and Registration

We accept online payment via Visa or Mastercard. If you prefer to pay by other means, please kindly contact our Conference Secretariat. We will try our best to make the best arrangement for you.

Confirmation of Registration
Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration confirmation will be sent to all successful registrants. If you do not receive a written confirmation by the end of September 2010, please contact the Conference Secretariat to verify the status of your registration and payment.

Cancellation of Registration

To cancel your Conference Registration, you must submit written notification to the Conference Secretariat no later than 15 October, 2010 by quoting your FULL name, passport/ID number, institution (department), correspondence address and invoice no. No refunds will be made if the cancellation request is received after the deadline. Upon receipt of your cancellation, 50% of your registration fee will be refunded. All approved refunds will be processed immediately following the conference.

Insurance

In the event of unforeseeable circumstances, the Conference Organiser will not be responsible for any loss incurred. It is the responsibility of the participants to make their own arrangements for personal and travel insurance.

Disclaimer

While every attempt will be made to ensure that all aspects of the Conference mentioned in this announcement will take place as scheduled, the Organising Committee reserves the right to make last-minute changes without prior notice, should the need arise.
