Ms. Candy Man

Hong Kong Baptist University

I am Man Ho Lam, a graduate from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2020. My major was B.A. (Hons) in Physical Education & Recreation Management. I participated in the Global Sport Leadership Project in the semester 2 of academic year 2018-2019 under the course Leadership and Communication in Sport and Recreation. We interviewed students from USA who studied in sport management and a Taiwanese student who was studying at HKBU. We exchanged our opinions on local sports and our opinions on national sport leaders. We compared the sport culture and its development in the USA and Taiwan with Hong Kong’s situation to find out the strengths and weaknesses in the sport development in Hong Kong.

Ms. Mok Sum Yui, Melody

The University of Hong Kong

Program: BA&BEd(LangEd)-Eng
Year of study: 3
“Being a student at HKU, you are always expected to be up to challenges ahead with confidence and determination.” I have always tried to live my university life to the fullest by joining different Experiential Learning courses as well as serving the school and students as the Chairperson of the Faculty Society. I truly believe that without experience, there will never be true knowledge. All these unique experiences of mine have shaped me into a person with perseverance and enthusiasm, and to see the light in the dimmest. Beyond being a student, I genuinely hope that my experience can make a difference to one’s life, to society, and to the world.

I was also managing the research elements that involved overseas students coming to SJTU. I also volunteered in the 8th International Conference on World-Class Universities (WCU-8).
